Hi all,

My customer's using i.MX6SL and we have questions about PWM.

Q1.

They use HSIC_STROBE pad as a PWM2.

According to the datasheet, the pad's power group is NVCC_1P25.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/IMX6SLCEC.pdf

We believe that it's wrong and correct power group is NVCC_1P2V.

On the other hand, according to the i.MX Pins Tool v6, the pad is in NVCC_GPIO power group and it can select both 1.8V and 3.3V.

Which power group is correct ?

Q2.

If power group of the pad is NVCC_GPIO, the PWM can output 3.3V level ?

Actually, the HSIC_DATA and HSIC_STROBE signals are in the 1P2V power group. If you need to output 3.3V PWM signal, please select some other IOMUX option for the PWM2_OUT signal according to the Table 36-1 of the i.MX6SoloLite Reference manual document.

Best Regards,
Artur
