Unable to record audio on MCIMX6Q-SDB

Hi,

We are trying to record and playback audio from MCIMX6Q-SDB board using ALSA but its not working.

We have connected an external mic to the audio jack.

While studying the schematic to understand the issue we came across a particular input to the audio module called CODEC_PWR_EN. Is it a problem with the processor not switching on this GPIO?

Attached is the screenshot of the schematic mentioning CODEC_PWR_EN.

Please let us know if someone had faced issues using mic on this board? If so can you please help us get the mic working?

Please use Chapter 28 [Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) System on

a Chip (ASoC) Sound Driver] of the recent Linux BSP  for some details about

audio support implementation.  In particular, please refer to section 28.5 (Unit Test)
