USB touchscreen not working with iMX6 sabre

Hi,

I am trying to get the waveshare 10" hdmi display/touchscreen working with iMX6q sabre board. I have Yocto Linux build running on the board, The waveshare display uses the HID multitouch driver, but the driver does not seem to be recognizing the touchscreen.

I can see the touchscreen listed in the lsusb command, I do not see any error message from usbhid driver either.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have connected the touchscreen to the sabre board via a USB hub to the USB OTG
