USB mass storage device formatting if filesystem is not FAT32

Hi all,

I'm working on freescale iMX6Q, WindowsCE platform.

While testing we came to know that,

USB mass storage device (Thumb drive or external hard disk) is formatted if the existing filesystem is not FAT32. If filesystem is FAT32 it's working properly.

Why this behavior?

Thanks.

With regards,

Keshava
