USB_OTG1 power clarification

In the schematics designed using I.MX7 processor, USB type c connector is used for charging and data transfer. But which power will be connected to the OTG1_VBUS pin. USB power can't be connected since USB will get power only at the time of charging and during data transfer USB will not get power. And also there is 5v output from the PMIC, that also can't connect directly, since when our circuit is powered up, USB will get power all the time.

So what is the best method for giving power to the USB_OTG1, so that it will get powered only if dp and dn of OTG1 signals are used.

VBUS is described in Table 12. USB recommendations  Hardware Development Guide for i.MX7Dual and 7Solo Applications Processors

"The processor should turn VBUS on as required."
