Hello,

 On iMX7DSABRESD board J11 connector is used for Debug UART (via USB).

According to board schematic: Debug UART1 is intended for Cortex-A7;

Debug UART2 for Cortex-M4.

   NXP BSP(s) uses such approach, but customers can use any available UART ports

(and pins) for their applications, assuming BSP modification, if needed.

Have a great day,
Yuri

Also Kindly suggest shall we use any of below UART ports for debugging,

1. UART1 (Pin# D16 & D7)

2. UART2 (Pin# G28 & D20)

If we are not able to use the above ports for debugging kindly request you to provide correct the UART port ID with pin numbers.

Thanks & Regards

Logesh
