U-boot 2014.04 transplanting on MX6DL

Hi all,    

     Now we are upgradeing  Android 5.0 on MX6DL, and we find the u-boot version is newer than before. So it has lot of changes. and I found, before this uboot ,the  board_init is like the process in this board.c as below:

     But referring to Android™ User's Guide.pdf, we get the code from freescale, and this latest uboot build the following board.c because the macro CONFIG_SYS_GENERIC_BOARD is defined.

     And now, could I undefine it to use the above way to board init? 3Q~

Hi tony

for Uboot porting one can look at attached document.

I do not think that it is possible to use board init as it was done

on old uboot. In general it may be suggested to post it on

uboot mail list
