Trigger DMA when a GPIO signal is high i.MX RT1170

I am using lpspi edma sdk to transfer data between i.MX RT1170 board (master) and a slave device. I was successful in sending the commands from the master. What I want now is to trigger DMA Rx on the master when the slave sends a high signal on a GPIO connection between the two devices. How I can set that up?
