Hi,
I have a SoM design here which uses either module with MX535 at 800MHz or module with MX537 at 1.2GHz. I'd like to create a single system image for those. I need to configure the chip to run at maximum speed on either module. Is it possible to tell apart MX535 from MX537 in software ? Is there some register available ?
Thanks!

As I know, as default, software has no way to identify the 535 and 537.
Maybe you can use a gpio pin to idendify your 535 and 537 boards.
Another way, you can ask for Freescale if they can burn some special fuse for 537 chips before ship to you, for example, burn some data into General Purpose fuses, then your software can check this fuse to identify the 537 chip.
