Hi,
We are working on IMX6Q and IMX6D processors and reference designs. Apart from reference design we would like to work on LPDDR2 instead of DDR3. In Hardware reference manual it is stated that LPDDR-2 1066 is supported by IMX6Q and IMX6D. Is 1066 is the maximum data rate or it should be 1066.
Can we go for LPDDR2 with data rates lesser than 1066 like 800 or 667. We are thinking of going for Micron Technology. Is there any reference design of IMX6DQ with Micron's LPDDR2.
Hi Srinivasa
yes one can use use LPDDR2 with slower data rates , such as
800 or 667. For reference design please create service request.
Best regards
igor
