Hello Friends,

I have a quick concern about the power consumption of MX280 under following condition when using 5V power supply (The best it can go down):

  1. Under Standby Condition
  2. Under Standby Condition when Wake On LAN is enable

Regards

Ankur.

Hi Ankur

some info for standby (echo standby > /sys/power/state) :

VDDD - 10mA, VDDA - 5mA,VDDIO - 15mA,VDD1P5 - 5mA

For case powering from 5V input you can recalculate power consumption,

using voltage difference between 5V and LDOs.

Case 2 never measured, seems it is the same as case 1.

Best regards

Thank you Chipexpert for sharing this information.

If I understood it correctly, which this I can calculate the power consumption on prototype using 5V. But I would like to know from Freescale, what is the best that can be achieved in Standby mode using I.MX28?

The problem is currently with Standby mode our prototype consumes around 1 Watt and our product requirement is below 0.6 Watt. Now, I would like to know if I.MX28 in standby mode with 5V does actually goes below 0.6 Watt or not.

Regards,

Ankur

I am afraid that data which you require, were not measured.
