Hi,
We are designing a board that will have two sony sensors and the image will be processed in an imx6.
We are looking at solutions to convert from sub-lvds to parallel cmos interface.
Has anybody a suggestion on a converter chip or solution we can use?, we are looking at a FPGA to do this but any comment is wellcomed.
Thanks,
Daniel,
did you get any solution? thine has the chip sub-LVDS to parallel THC63LVD1024
We used an FPGA and also implemented an ISP in the part.
Hello Daniel Amor,
There may be threads covering possible alternatives. FPGAs are certainly one, but it may be easier to use an available solution like the ADV7782.

I hope this helps!

Hello gusarambula,
I am curious whether you know if the ADV7782 not only supports the advertised OpenLDI LVDS, but also sub-LVDS which most Sony imaging sensors use. It seems like this might be the only alternative to using a Lattice FPGA solution.
That could be an option, but we are targeting parallel camera sensor interface in the imx6 and this component uses serial MIPI.
I'll have a look at other analog parts, thanks :-)
Hi @erdani80
Did you ever find a device to do Sony LVDS to parallel MIPI on the i.MX6?
I need to do this as well.
Thanks
Jamie
@jamiew , we placed an FPGA to do format conversion from sub LVDS to parallel video, and also some image processing to offload the processor
