Hi,
Our product design is started with IMX6DL.
Now, I have a requirement that
"power consumption of our product is less than 2W while waiting for Power-On command from external controller during standby mode"
To satisfy this requirement, do we have any method to save IMX6DL power consumption as long as possible?
<Example>
IMX6 works with low clock mode, or providing power supply voltage to only related IF, such as NVCC_RMII
And, please refer below diagram for your understanding.
Best regards,
Yuji
Hi Yuji
I am afraid power consumtion data for such use case is not available.
Available power consumption data can be found in AN4576, please pay
attention to sect.4 Reducing power consumption
i.MX 6DualLite Power Consumption Measurement
>IMX6 works with low clock mode, or providing power supply voltage to only related IF, such as NVCC_RMII
for i.MX6DL all power supplies should be on even for unused modules.
For requirement "power consumption of our product is less than 2W" may be recommended to
apply to Professional Services Software Technologies Form | NXP Semiconductors
as many customers achieved necessary power numbers making various software optimizations
using this service.
Best regards
igor

Hi, Igor
Thanks for your reply.
If we realize to reduce power consumption by entering low power mode, some of mode still can use RMII function?
>IMX6 works with low clock mode, or providing power supply voltage to only related IF, such as NVCC_RMII
>for i.MX6DL all power supplies should be on even for unused modules.
Is this regardless of power mode?
Hi,
Please help to answer for my question.
