SD_CD Pin in i.Mx7

Hi,

The SD card is not detected in our board after power up. In our schematics, we have assigned the SD_CD pin to No Connect. We use the micro controller MCIMX7D7DVM10SC

But when we go in detail through the user manual its written, for embedded memory it should be tied to ground if not used. Will this cause an issue?

Kindly share your thoughts in this regard!!!!

Hello Meria,

Yes, this is a problem if you do not have this pin in a low level,  it is never going to generate the proper interrupt event to detect the SD Card.  An option can be enable the pulldown resistor internally of the PAD.  and test.
