Replaceable part for Samsung Nand flash

Hi,

I am using iMX25 PDK as reference and designed my customized CPU board. In that I am not able to find the Samsung Nand flash and I am looking for a replaceable part, which can be directly used for booting without modifying any tools or software. If anyone is already having a part no. kindly share with me. It will be easy for me to go for it and use.

     You can check 2 files :

(1)In u-boot

uboot-imx/drivers/mtd/nand/nand_device_info.c

(2)In linux

kernel-imx/drivers/mtd/nand/nand_device_info.c

     In these 2 files, Here are all devices supported by linux and u-boot . you select one NAND Flash .

(3)ATK Tools

In order to use ATK Tools, you need to reter to FSL_ATK_UserGuide_Std.pdf

Can I have a question?

For our custom board, imx27 CPU with K9k2G08U0B nandflash, but default type is for K9k1G08U0B and K9k2G08R0A.

I use the ads toolkit to program bootloader file into flash, but failed, I choose the K9K2G08R0A.

Is there any ways for booting our board?

And what is the difference between XXXXU0B and XXXXR0A?

     I didn't try ads toolkit on i.mx27 platform. Because we have ATK Tool and MFG Tool for burning images . K9k2G08U0B and K9k2G08R0A should be the same type, if the driver in u-boot supports K9k2G08R0A, K9k2G08U0B should also be supported.

When I use the ATK tool the first thing is to select the CPU tpye, what is the difference between imx27 T01 and T02?

The cpu on our board has more pins than another, which type should I choose, T01 or T02?
