Hello,

We are developing a hardware system based on i.mx8m nano. I have a question on the RGMII/RMII interface. According to "i.MX 8M Nano Applications Processor Datasheet for Industrial Products":

On page 42:

"For RMII—ENET_TD2 functions as RMII REF_CLK when configured in the ALT1 mode."

On page 43:

"For RMII—SD1_RESET_B functions as RMII REF_CLK when configured in the ALT1 mode."

I wonder in the ALT0 mode which is the REF_CLK signal? Or is there something wrong with this datasheet?

Thanks!

Hello,

There is nothing wrong with the datasheet. It is just that for getting the REF_CLK through either pad you mentioned, it is required to use the ALT1; for ALT0 this would not be possible.

Hope it helps!

Ivan.
