Regarding i.mx6 EMI/EMC pretest

Hi all,

         Am using aplais iMX6Q 1GB CPU card in one of application and during EMI/EMC pretest am getting a spike at 875.22MHz. I went through all the modules operating frequencies (even on my application board) and found that 875.22MHz is not an harmonics or any fundamental frequency. Is there any modules on imx6 card emitting it ?

Hi Jashan

I am not aware of EMI issues with that particular frequency,

in general one can look at used typical frequencies in

Table 18-4. System Clock Frequency Values i.MX6DQ Reference Manual

and try to find source disabling some modules or plls.

Hi igorpadykov,

                        I tried with disabling the different clocks individually but still this emission at 875.22MHz persists. Will the SRE and DSE fields of pad control register work to reduce EMC ? Or any procedure or things am missing to get the source of this emission ?
