We are developing a custom processor card using the IMX8 QuadPlus processor and using the MEK schematic as a reference.
We would like to allow Serial Boot so we can do DDR4 training via the provided scripts.
We have no use for USB-C and are planning to use the USB 2.0 OTG1 to boot for use in this script - we have no other usage for this USB.
I cannot find the reference schematic for the Base Board (which has the USB 2.0 connector) , its reference MCIMX8-8X-BB (or SCH-29918) does not give any results on Schematic Design files.
I am not that familiar with USB - so advice on how to power it and how to switch Modes using the ID pin are appreciated.
Also if we could get the Base Board schematic as the MEK circuit only shows the CPU card side of the USB interface.
So far I understand that the processor should enable the power to the USB bus but I am not clear on the finer details.
