Real-time warp / geometric correction of HD video?

Good day,

I am looking for an up-to 2K image processor that can warp (apply real-time geometric correction) a single HDMI input source and output an HDMI signal.

Can any of the i.MX or other NXP processors & controllers be used to perform this function for a select number of video resolutions (1920x1200, 1280x800, 1024x768)?

Regards

Zaid

Hi Zaid

HDMI input is not supported natively but HDMI to Camera Interface (CSI-2) Bridge Chip

(like TC358743) can be used, i.MX6DQ has MIPI CSI-2 interface.

"geometric correction" seems can be performed by IPU or GPU, please look at

Chapters 31,32, sect.37.1.2.1.5.3 Image Converter (IC) i.MX6DQ Reference Manual (rev.3  7/2015)

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/IMX6DQRM.pdf

Best regards

igor
