RTC Cystal for i.MX6 Dualite System

Hi,

I am using i.MX6 Dualite for one of my design.

The system is turned ON by connecting a switch to the ON_OFF Button of the processor.

What would the impact of not using RTC Crystal in my System in this scenario?

Whether the system Can generate PMIC_ON_REQ signal without 32KHz clock? Note that VDD_SNVS_IN supply is still present in the system.

   According to section 60.5 (Power-On Reset and power sequencing) of the

i.MX6(Q) Reference Manual : "The 4ms and 1ms delays are derived from counting the

32kHz RTC clock cycles; the accuracy depends on the accuracy of the RTC. When the

RTC crystal is either absent or in the process of powering up, an internal ring oscillator

will be the source of RTC." So, external RTC clock is not needed for start up.
