Questions about HDMI ARC in MCIMX8M-EVK?

Hi

I'd like to record the TV Audio which is connected through HDMI-ARC. (TV will send the audio through HDMI-ARC). 

In the datasheet of i.MX8 Processors, it says that supports HDMI-ARC(Audio Return Channel). I'm wonder whether MCIMX8M-EVK supports HDMI-ARC path and I can receive the audio data in Linux

Below is from i.MX Expert:

This requirement needs to enhance the HDMI CEC command.  It means you need to let the TV know that the board support compressed streams by CEC command.  then TV will send the encoded data to board.

   Yes, right.

    You can find the device, and use arecord to test it.

Is this also possible to capture the raw data(=encoded data, not decoded PCM) that is transmitted from TV through HDMI-PCM?
