Questions about DMA mode for iMX28 auart

Hi,

i'm a application developer and have some questions about the mxs-auart under Linux 2.6.35 (Freescale BSP) and the iMX28 platform:

Where do i get the information at runtime, which mode (DMA on/off) the auart is running?

Can i enable or disable DMA mode at runtime for the auart?

Are there any disadvantages using DMA mode for mxs-auart?

Does the DMA mode support marking of parity and framing errors?

Is there more documentation about auart than in the reference manual for the EVK?

Yes.  I'd like to know the same answers, especially for the more recent device-tree builds (eg morty or rocko)
