Dear All,
I want to know the Number of images that can be simultaneously decoded in i.MX8MQ.
Could you tell me the number?
Our test environment is like as below.
For Video Display, we have to make the One-Display image with 4-channels or 8-channels.
So we need to check the Number of images that can be simultaneously decoded in i.MX8MQ.
- MPU : i.MX8MQ
- Video Input
. Interface : Gigabit Ethernet
. Encoding : H.264 or H.265
. Video Resolution : No Fixed
- Video Save
. Interface : PCIe for HDD/SDD
- Video Output
. Image : One Display with 4-channel or 8-channel
. Interface : HDMI / 4K(4096x2160)@60Hz
. Video Resolution : 4K(4096x2160)@60Hz
- Block Diagram
.
Best Regards,
Eric.
Hi Eric,
So sorry for late reply. I have confirmed, and here could you tell me more, if you want to ask max number can display on screen or the multiple videos overlay?
About the VPU decode, it depend on the video you want to play back.
Have a nice day
Rita
Dear Rita,
Thanks for your Interest.
We have to display the 4-channels or 8-channels video in the same ONE display.
So I think we need to decode the multiple videos in the same time.
And the output display resolution via HDMI is 4K(4096x2160)@60Hz.
In this case, I want to know the below items.
- What is the each resolution for the 4-channels display?
- What is the each resolution for the 8-channels display?
For example,
Output Display Resolution = 4K(4096x2160)@60Hz
4-channels Reslution for this situation = (2048x1080)@60Hz = 4K(4096x2160) / 2
8-channels Reslution for this situation = (1024x 540)@60Hz = 4K(4096x2160) / 4
Best Regards,
Eric.
