Hello, all.

I have a question about 'RTC external battery' of  'i.MX6 Dual lite'.

I designed circuit about 'RTC external battery' like below. That refer to 'SABRE Bd' circuit.

pastedImage_0.png

I confuse about consuming current of 'RTC external battery' is too much. That consumed about 16mA.

I think needed setting register about 'MMPF0100NPAZES(PMIC)'  or 'i.MX6DL' , Is that right?

And, It seems RTC external battery not full charged. Is that needed setting register?

Please, inform me that problems ,ASAP.

Best Regards,

Inho Jeon.

Hello,

From the Datasheet,  "Stop Mode Current and Power Consumption" table,

there is SNVS Only mode, when  VDD_SNVS_IN powered and  all other supplies OFF,

and SRTC is running.  Additional current consumption may be observed because of internal

pulling up / down resistors on signals, that are powered via VDD_SNVS, such as : BOOT_MODE,

TAMPER, ONOFF, POR, PMIC_ON_REQ, PMIC_STBY_REQ, TEST_MODE.

Please use Linux codes and documentation how to configure PMIC :

chapters bout PF100 Regulator Driver and SNVS Real Time Clock (SRTC) Driver.
