Query on PF3001 and PF3000 related circuit

Hi,

I have below queries on PF3001 and PF3000 circuit

1. The PF3001 and PF3000 are footprint compatible. But the some pin assignments are different.

In PF3001 the 24,25th pins are GND and NC

In PF3000 the 24,25th pins are VREFDDR and  VINREFDDR.

So how VREFDDR is generated in the PF3001 if we are not using resistor divider circuit.

2.  As observed in datasheet of PF3001 24th pin is GND and in PF3000 VINREFDDR so as observed in schematics when we are mounting PF3001 24 pin will be supplied by voltage rail  DRAM_1V35(SW3 output). Please clarify.

Regards,

Vineeth

Hi,

As per the recomondation mentioned in the PF3001 datasheet Pin 24 is GND and recommended to connected to Ground. But for PF3000 24th Pin is VINREFDDR. How this is taking care in the schematics compatible for both the chips. The schematics i reffered is SPF-29090_C.

Hello

PF3001 is pin compatible with PF3000 - this allows to use the same board ( say, with

configuration jumpers) for both ones. But PF3001 does not provide specially DDR reference

voltage. External circuit is needed for it.

Please follow PF3001 DataSheet recommendations regarding pin connections / termination,

when using the PF3001.

Have a great day,
Yuri
