May I ask a question? I'd like to use 2 1080p MIPI cameras to i.MX6Q, is it possible to use it as follow:
If it is feasiable, how to use the the same CLK LANE? is there a special chip to seperate one clk lane to two?
Hi Ken
in general one can connect up to 4 cameras to the MIPI CSI-2 interface.
For this you have to either use a MIPI CSI-2 hub (if anything
like this already exists) or multiplex the four streams in an FPGA.
Each camera in this case should use a different stream identifier (stream 0-3).
I am afraid there is no way for camera No.1 to use the data lane 0~1, camera No.2
use the data lane 2~3.
Best regards
igor
