QSPI flash support on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise

Hi all,

My customer are working with?8MMINILPD4-EVK +?Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (W21H2-1-5-0).

They're debugging software using EVK, but there seems to be no QSPI flash driver in Windows BSP, so they can't check QSPI function.

According to the BSP supported features of release note, the BSP supprt "Nor Flash" but it seems like only i.MX 8M Plus and Nano.

So let me confirm about support of QSPI flash.

Q1.

Is it possible to access QSPI flash from i.MX8MMini on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (W21H2-1-5-0)?

If yes, please tell me how to do.

Q2.

If Q1 is no, we would like to support QSPI flash in i.MX8MMini.

How can we support it ?

Hello,

As is mentioned on documentation, this feature is available only on i.MX 8MPLUS and i.MX 8MNANO.

But also mentions that on i.MX 8MMINI, 8MQ and QXP EVK the solution can be ported. You could contact the PRO Support Team to add this feature on your design.

Yes, by default on our BSP on i.MX8MPLUS/NANO.

Does the comment " PRO Support Team" mean that PROFESSIONAL-ENGINEERING-SERVICES?

Or PREMIUM-SUPPORT?

PRO Support Team means Professional-Engineering-Services.

I can't find a driver in your BSP.

Also there are not in supported list.
