Q7 based i.MXQ6 USB tethering & 3G Dongle support

Hi,

==>  We are working in I.MX6Q  based qSeven SOM from SECO

==>  We are using the Linux Kernel version  = 3.0.35

                                   Android version = JB4.2.2

I would like to know whether we have the below support for this chipset in Android?

  1. USB tethering (USB tethering enabled Android mobile connected to the chipset)

  2. USB 3G dongle support.

Also, do we have any steps for 'Android - 3G-USB -Modem Integration' and 'Android - USB Tethering Integration' ?

Hello Bala,

I know of customers that have done both (usb tethering and usb 3g), unfortunately we do not have a document that enlists the steps to integrate them into our board.

Are you having a specific problem with the integration?

ps: I'm not familiar with the qSeven SOM.
