Crystal/Oscillator (24Mhz) queries:
1.Do we really required crystal as well as oscillator to make processor work?
2.Why we need two different clock circuit and logical connection in design?
3.Is PMIC_STBY_REQ signal will used to make Processor Standby while pulling the MOSFET line to ground?
We are looking cost effective solution for our design, so we prefer 24MHz crystal along with 16PF load caps only. Is this work for new silicon version 1.1 processor chip? Please refer our design snapshot below,

We would like use simple crystal without affecting functionality.
Could you please validate this design?
We have seen in NXP community, they posted that there was some errata issue (ERR009455).

3. PMIC_STBY_REQ is i.MX6UL output signal which is used in low power modes,
optionally (as in EVK schematic) it can be used to turn off 24MHz clock (using mosfet)
to further reduce power consumption)

Thanks for your quick reply. Could you please check our 24MHz Xtal connection?
Because we have seen the Errata ERR009455 mentioned some modification required for 24MHz crystal connections.
The newly released silicon version will solve this problem. Is there any schematic done for Newly released IMX6UL silicon version?

I think schematic ic correct, ERR009455 is fixed in rev.1.1.
