Dear Sir or Madam,

Hello.

[Q1]

Refer to schematic of i.MX6Q SABRE-AI.

I'd like to use i.MX6Dual and VDDARM23_IN_x connect to ground.

Is it possible to remove these decoupling capacitors (C62, C613, C614, C615, C616, C617, C620) with i.MX 6Dual system?

[Q2]

If the voltage input to VDDARM23_IN_x on i.MX6Dual system, what problem is there?

(Increase the leak current? Destroy the CPU?)

Best Regards,

Keita

Hi Keita

1. yes it is possible to remove these decoupling capacitors.

2. no problem, may be Increase of leak current.

Similar to that, i.MX6Solo/DualLite have one VDDARM_IN input

for both cores, Solo has one core disabled.

Best regards

igor
