Hi all,

IMX8QXP - - Manual definitely states TXC and TX_CTL are OUTPUT.

I am using the Config Tool to do the pin muxing , Version:" *** About Config Tools for i.MX:
Version and Build id: 8.0.0.202006090903  Installed tools:  Pins (8.0) "

And for the both RGMII interfaces it shows "Input" for the pin direction for both TXC and TX_CTL on both interfaces and I am unable to change it manually.

Is this just a tool quirk or is there really a issue with pin direction?

Yes, right.

TXC and TX_CTL are both OUTPUT.

In fact, the main purpose of Pin Mux Tool is to allow hardware engineers to quickly complete multiplexing CPU pins.
Therefore, when problems are found, users should regard datasheet and reference manual as standards.

Hope above information is helpful to you.

Have a nice day!
