Peer to peer connection using broadr reach

Hi,

   I have two imx6 sabre AI boards with each supporting a BroadR reach PHY card. I have a peer to peer connection in between the boards. I have set up an ip address for both the boards, but while trying to ping between the boards, it says that the network is unreachable. The same set up has worked for the Atheros ENET phy Card. How do I set up the peer to peer connection between the two boards using broadr reach. Both the boards are running linaro Ubuntu.

    What is patch required for?

one board should be flashed with master (#define BCM89810_MASTER)
image and the other as slave image. Patch provides necessary definitions.

    I have created the service request. Kindly provide the required patches and kindly mention how I can apply these patches? Also can I apply these patches for Linaro(Ubuntu) or only for Yocto?
