Hi,
We are designing a customized board based on imx6sl. According to the design of nxp imx6slevk board, we decided to use the same PCIM chip on imx6slevk which is ‘MMPF0100F’. However, we found there is no pre-configuration MMPF0100F chip that can be directly used for our design according to ‘6.1.1 Device Start-up Configuration’.
So, it seems we have to ‘fuse’ PCIM chip to customize our own configuration. So does this means that we have to 'flash' or 'fuse' MMPF0100F first and then solder it? Since there is no environment ready to use for imx6sl to send a command to regulate PCIM. Or is there any way to buy MMPF0100 already flash our own configuration? Or is there any more convenient way to do configuration onboard?
I am new to explore this PMIC area. Thanks for your suggestion.
Hi AccuJie,
See mmpf0100 datasheet , please!
MMPF0100F1AEP can be directly used to power the I.MX6SL. You don't need to do OTG programming. MMPF0100F1AEP has been pre-programmed when it leaves the factory.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Have a nice day!
