Hi,

Our custom board is having PMIC-MC33PF8200DEES which is providing power to i.MXQXP processor.

In attached capture you can see there is voltage dip on  V1P5A (Pin 41) (Custom board signal name VCCA_1V5) of PMIC at starting.

Is this behaviour is correct or do we need to add extra capacitor in the line.

Refer PMIC_Schematic also

Regards,

Shivam

Hi Shivam

reason for such behaviour may be big VIN rise-up time, it is described as "tvin_rise" 1.5ms(max)

in Table 16,17 Startup with PWRON  PF8100, PF8200 Datasheet

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/PF8100_PF8200.pdf

Best regards
igor
