PCI Express "phy never came up" with BSP 3.10.17

I'm using BSP fsl-yocto-3.10.17_1.0.0 on imx6 dual

and I have a similar issue with these:

But I find two patches in

It works for "phy never came up" issue.

My question:

Is the issue caused by new-generation CPU ?

HI charles

no, issue is not related to new-generation CPU,

processors remain the same. Patches adjust timings necessary for pcie

internal plls locking after warm-reset. In particular bit REF_SSP_EN

register GPR1 should be set only afer plls locking (it is not cleared

automatically after warm-reset).
