PCA9450CHN for iMX8M Nano

hi,

Could you please help to advise that PCA9450CHN can be used for iMX8M Nano

cause we have stock of PCA9450CHN and need to start a new design with iMX8M Nano, if possible

- any SW config via i2c required

- any application note for HW design

Thanks for your reply, we understood that PCA9450B is the focus of iMX8 Nano

but the question is: if we use PCA9450C for iMX8 Nano, is it possible? and any SW or HW config that we need to highlight

following the spec, it can be done by not using the BUCK3.

but imx8 and PCA9450C are communicated via i2c, so we need to check any SW configuration or not

You need change dual phase configuration using two inductors instead of one, no need change for software side.

The reference design is used the PCA9450B.

The different between PCA9450B and PCA9450C are:

1:PCA9450B – Two 3 A buck regulators
PCA9450C – 6 A dual-phase buck regulator and 3 A buck regulator
