Hello, Champs,

I'm checking OpenGL ES versions supported by i.MX6 series per customer's request.

I'm referring to Reference Manuals and the "i.MX Family Comparison Chart" linked in below.

In this chart, OpenGL ES 3.0 is supported by Quad, Dual,DualLite, Solo.

However in each Reference Manual,

Quad/Dual : No mention for 3.0

DL/Solo   : OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 (draft)

1. What is the real status of the ES 3.0 support?

2. Is there any schedule for ES 3.1?

Thank you, I understood ES 3.0 will be supported in i.MX6 which has GC2000 or GC880 inside.

Hi Nori

you can look at attached document for current yocto OpenGL support.

OpenGL ES 3.0 will be supported on next release with linux 3.10.31

Freescale OpenEmbedded/Yocto Layers discussion list ()

I am not aware of plans for OpenGL ES 3.1.
