Hi,
I am working on imx6 based custom platform that runs Oreo on it. We have the devices running in the field with Android Oreo that needs an upgrade to Pie.
We are able to achieve upgrading Oreo to Pie using fastboot. We have tried OTA update(fromOreo to Pie) using sideload and the same fails.
However, the challenge we see in updating Oreo to Pie is the update in GPT. Between Oreo and Pie, there are updates in the partition table and the partitions as well. Hence, the OTA update from Oreo to Pie should involve updating all the binaries including gpt.img and bootloader as well.
Any help is appreciated!
