OMNIVISION OV5640 5MP AF module with MIPI interface on phyCORE-i.MX7D

We are working on our custom carrier board with  phyCORE-i.MX7D SOM.
Now we are trying to interface OMNIVISION OV5640 5MP AF module which has MIPI interface on phyCORE-i.MX7D.

Does this camera works with phyCORE-i.MX7D, please  share your comments.
How to integrate this camera successfully with phyCORE-i.MX7D.

seems this is possible as its BSP is based on NXP Release L4.1.15-2.0.1_ga, according to

BSP Yocto FSL iMX7 PD17.1.0 Release Notes - Develop.phytec - PHYTEC Wiki  

and one can follow Chapter 19 OmniVision Camera Driver attached Linux Manual.

Since this is third party board, it is supported by its vendor, issue may be posted on

http://support.phytec.com/
