Hi all
I have a question about number of cycles needed to send a single pixel.
According to RM Rev3.0, there are following description.
How about RAW Bayer 12bit ?
Is it need 2 cyles/pixel ?

Hi Igor
Thank you for reply but please let me confirm again.
According to the P2724 of RM Rev 3.0, there is a following description.
Bayer/Generic data = 1 cycle/pixel
However, in P2725 of RM Rev 3.0, there is a following description
Generic data = 2 cycle/pixel
Both of above description, I guess there have different parameters.
Could you check again ?

Hi Ko-hey
according to i.MX6DQ Datasheet (rev.4, 7/2015)
Table 66. Camera Input Signal Cross Reference, Format, and Bits Per Cycle
5,6 selection, it is 1 cycle.

Hi Igor
I understand that the Generic data needs only 1 cycle from following description.
YCbCr, 16 bits-Supported as a "generic-data" input-with no on-the-fly processing.
Is this also same for RAW Bayer 12bit ?
Addition for this , is it same in both parallel and MIPI-CSIs I/F ?
Ko-hey
Hi Ko-hey
according to RM for MIPI 1 cycle/pixel is for YUV422
2 cycle/pixel is for RAW (generic) format
Best regards

Hi Igor
This is final confirm.
The following is the my understanding.
Is it correct ?
In parallel interface, Generic data needs 1 cycle/pixel
In MIPI-CIS2 interface, Generic data needs 2 cycle/pixel
I'm sorry for asking you many times.
But the cycle is very important for me.

Hi Ko-hey
yes this is right.
