We are working on an application development using EVKMIMXRT1170 for a 5 inch TFT display with RGB interface. With reference to the  EVK hardware design files(MIMXRT1170-EVK-design files-Rev C3),we are referring to the schematic file SPF-32171_C3 ,2 SDRAMs U13 and U25 are being placed in the EVK board. Each of the SDRAMs are 4 M *4 BANKS *16 bits SDRAM= 256Mbits. Are these SDRAMs are addressed using 16 bits data transfer (Read ,Write ) or 32 bit data transfer mode of usage . Also is it required to use both these SDRAMs in the EVK (U13 and U25) in building an application for TFT display interface.

Hi Naresh,

It is not required to use both SDRAM, you can use single SDRAM in your design.

Have a great day,

Felipe
