Hi there,

I added a new i2c device(max_serdeser1) to i2c0_mipi_dsi1 bus, the driver probe could be ok but regmap_i2c_read repord err with errno '-5' as below during i2c device reg configuration procedure.  I also measured the mipi_dsi1_ts_scl pin via oscilloscope but no clk signal ouput.  Anyone can help to support.  thanks very much.

Hi Fu

what bsp used in the case. Recommended to try latest Linux 5.10.9_1.0.0

and build all image from scratch following Release Notes requirements for versions

of software components (like SCFW 1.8.0, e.t.c.)  i.MX Linux Release Notes

Best regards

Hello,

out change is based on imx-p9.0.0_2.1.0-auto-ga verion.  is there any issue with DSI i2c bus ?

so your suggestion is to upgrade kernel version to 5.10.9_1.0.0 ?

thanks
