I've got a SCM-i.MX6DUal/6Quad Quick Start Board and followed the Quick Start Guide. Unfortunatelly, I do not get any output on two different Monitors connected to the HDMI port. Both monitors work with any other HDMI source I tried previously.
On the serial console I get the following messages:
imx-hdmi-audio imx-hdmi-audio: HDMI Video is not ready!
imx-hdmi-audio imx-hdmi-audio: ASoC: can't open platform imx-hdmi-audio: -22
The firmware is as delivered (extract from boot messages):

I already returned one unit because I thought the HDMI might be broken, but the new one shows the same behaviour.
Try to change the uboot version, the previous u-boot is sending a bad parameter for loading the kernal. so when a HDMI is needed it shows the error. After changing the U-boot the error is not showing as well as the HDMI is working properly
