How much do you encourage moving to 2.6.38? How well is different i.MX boards supported and tested, compared to 2.6.35.3?

For Example ::

user@ubuntu:~/imx53/11.09.01/ltib$ cat ltib-fix-rpm-flag.patch
user@ubuntu:~/imx53/11.09.01/ltib$ patch -p 0 < ltib-fix-rpm-flag.patch

Open the patch file, you will find all the modifications, relative to patching of files.

How are we going to update that patch in BSP. And how to verfiy whether patch is updated or not.?
