Hi NXP Team,

We need the test point or pin details for connecting Apple MFi Authentication Chip in i.mx8QM and i.mx8QXP EVK. We are looking for following pins.

  • 3.3v VCC
  • SDA
  • SCL
  • GND

Thanks in advance

Hi @joanxie , thanks for your reply, sorry we missed to check your response on time

So, what we really need is a details of the hardware layout and schematics which helps us to find the i2c lines for connecting MFi chip which is already present in our side.

We have an "MCIMX8-8x-BB" baseboard, where we are connecting our i.MX8 QM & QXP hardware. I have seen that there is some "AUX I2C" (J7) present on it containing 10 jumper slots. We would like to know what is the pinout for each so that we can find the '3.3v VCC', SDA, SCL & GND. And we need confirmation on whether we can use it for connecting MFi Chip.

Thanks,
Mohammed Shakir

AUX I2C can used as standard I2C, but I don't have this connector spec, you can refer to the enclosed BOM file, which has manufacturer and part number, pls find the attachment
