You can do git clone and fetch NXP kernel source code.

git clone git://git.freescale.com/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git

git checkout imx_3.0.35_4.0.0

   I have same question; Now, I am building a AVB Demo ,follow the "i.MX6 AVB Demo Implementation" wroten by xianfeng_jin , but this doc create in 2013, and all patch  is work for L3.0.35_4.0.0,  

   I do git clone and git checkout ,but cannot checkout the branch L3.0.35_4.0.0 success;

You can check git tag, there are multiple tags for different code completion.
