More power consumption on target board

Hi All,

Below are board details ,

Processor - i.MX6Q

DDR3 - 2GB

eMMC - 32GB

Android Jellybean 4.2

I have the bare board , meaning not enabled any module , not even LCD .

while booting the board , the power consumption is 1.2A .

with LCD integrated , 2.2A  is power consumption .

How to manage power consumption , from HW perspective ?

Which board are you using?, can I have the part number please?...

I'm attaching an application note regarding power consumption, so you can see what would be the approximate consumption on different cases for reference.
