Merge weston patch related to hdmi unplug/replug and fullscreen mode lost

Upstream weston developers just merged this patch, so that weston doesn't loose fullscreen mode if the HDMI cable is unplugged and then plugged again (see here).

Since the issue has been reported on a iMX8M processor, can NXP merge this pacth in its own weston fork (that O think is this one, but I can be wrong)?

Thanks

Hi @Sanket_Parekh

probably my previous answer got lost somewhere.

I don't use a BSP fro NXP, but TorizonCore from Toradex. And Toradex said it's based on NXP fork of weston.

I don't think it's already included, because the mainteners of weston added the patch some days ago (based on the issue I created).

And, in any case, I think it's easy for one of the NXP developers, checking if the patch is included or not.

Can you ask someone to verify, please?

I received some email with answers from @Sanket_Parekh but I can't see them here.

The emails contain a link to the community, but it points to a non-existing page.

What is wrong?

Hello @vix

Please find the response of the engineering team below.

I have checked the latest version of weston-imx-11.0.1, the patch hasn't been added.

Hello @vix ,

I hope you are doing well.

I have a query to ask, Please find it as given below.

->Which Linux BSP are you using?
->Please check whether the patch you are merging is included in the latest BSP or not.
->If not then One has to wait for the next quarter's release for the same.
->If yes then please use the latest Linux BSp for the same.

Thanks & regards,

Sanket Parekh
