I am trying to write ANY image to the processor in the title, and I have the JTAG interface available to it. I have been working with embedded systems for 20 years (among other things), yet never had the need or have been exposed to using NXP yet. With Atmel/ST/Microchip it was easy, take the IDE, connect to the processor, write the thing. However, what I have with NXP is a design with an open JTAG port, a Flyswatter2 programmer, and that's it. I was tasked with programming "any image" on the processor.
At this point, with whatever's programmed on it, Windows will not ID the board properly, by connecting to the USB lines, therefore we intend to write another image, see if we can connect through USB or if we can program a configuration file over that image form a programming fixture.
I have been struggling and installed openocd during the last three days, however did not come to a successful connection yet to the flyswatter2.
Any help, thoughts, direction would be greatly appreciated at this point.
