I followed the startnow video series and was able to Debug the dsp_mu_polling_hifi4 example using both the MCUExpresso IDE and the Xtensa Xplorer IDE.
but now when I revisit the example and attempt to run it I get:
( [ nxp_rt600_RI2021_8_newlib ] Xtensa ISS ) *ERROR* Unable to get license
( exit ) exit requested from context '[ nxp_rt600_RI2021_8_newlib ] Xtensa ISS' ( rc = -1 )
( main ) *WARNING* fatal error(s) caught ( rc = -1 )
It looks like its attempting to use the simulator which is not intended as the example is intended to run on the hardware.
How can I resolve this issue? The license hasn't changed, nor do I remember changing the run settings to use the simulator. I'm also not completely sure if it was attempting to use the simulator when it was working, I do not believe so because I never acquired a license for simulation.
